hook. Audiences will want to know more about Monty’s double life, as I did.
Scriptalooza 2026
Monty is, quite simply, one of the more compelling Australian television pilots I've read. The
central character is fully formed, original, and carries the weight of genuine emotional
intelligence. The procedural framework is solid but never mechanical. The ensemble is strong
across the board, the dialogue is outstanding, and the tonal control is remarkable. edges. "All That Glitters" is exactly the right title for a premiere that understands the distance between appearance and truth. I'd greenlight this in a heartbeat.
